According to officials following the instructions of DFO Sindh Division Ganderbal Owais Farooq Mir, a joint team of territorial forest staff Akhal block and staff of Forest protection force Mammer headed by Range officer Sindh range Kangan and AD Forest protection force retrieved 1.50 hectares of encroached forest land in compartment no. 1 in Najwan beat of Akhal block.
This evictions comes after strict instructions issued by PCCF J&K and CCF Kashmir to field officials to show zero tolerance towards such encroachments.
Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Sindh forest Division Ganderbal Owais Farooq Mir said that such drives will be continuously carried out in future as well.
