Sopore, Oct 01 : A Govt school building is lying in shambles in Sopore sub division of district Baramulla while authorities have turned a Nelson’s eye towards the plight of the students.
Established in 2007 about 14 years ago Govt Middle School at village Amberpora in Tarzoo Sopore, district Baramulla the school has been left on God’s mercy.
Some greedy people of Malpora Amberpur have illegally occupied the building and are storing dead wood, charcoal, Grass and cowdung in the school building from last many years.
However concerned Education Officer Baramulla and Zonal Education Officer have completely failed to handover this school building to school management.
We took this matter up number of times with the concerned department but the concerned department failed to take any action, Sarpanch of the area said.
Meanwhile Zonal Education Officer, Sopore when contacted said, the team has been constituted by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla in this regard.
Further, tender has been issued regarding fancing of this school property, he said.
