Bandipora: In a shocking incident stray dogs attacked at least 20 people on Wednesday in four villages of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports reaching that stray dogs attacked people at Mantrigam, Bonakoot, Badibeth and Tanghat villages in saperate incidents.
All the injured were taken to district hospital Bandipora for treatment, four among them were shifted to Bone and Joint hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment said an official.
The injured were treated and anti-rabbies vaccines were given to them in district hospital Bandipora said a medical officer.
Locals told that the number of stray dogs has been increasing in the town and the children and elderly are often scared to go out alone on roads.
