Supreme Court Lawyer Files RTI for Disclosing Cases of licenses issued without passing trial/testing by RTO offices in Kashmir

Srinagar: Supreme Court lawyer Harmeet Singh Hora has filed an RTI regarding the disclosure of cases in which licenses were issued without the trial method.

Meanwhile the RTI copy which lies with CNS Mentions that the department of Jammu and Kashmir Regional Transport office at Srinagar has been asked “Certain Queries” about the persons who were issued licenses without passing trial/testing by the Inspector namely Abid Mattoo.

Meanwhile, a lawyer from Supreme Court of India, Delhi has filed RTI to the department asking serious questions about such licenses issued between 01.01.2019 to 15.08.2020.

The RTI copy also mentions that it has also been asked that the department should answer how many such licenses approved by the Motor Vehicle Inspector Abid Matto were approved and asked them to provide the video footage of such qualified persons. (CNS)
