Qazigund: In its ongoing efforts to prevent COVID-19 outbreak, Team Raahat (A Ray of Hope) installed disinfection tunnel at Emergency hospital Qazigund, Kulgam
The sanitization tunnel was formally inaugurated today by the Medical Superintendent E.H Qazigund, Dr Aasima Jan in presence of BMO Qazigund, Dr Zahoor Tantray and Team Raahat.
Chairman Raahat, Khan Lalee said that tunnel has been set up in order to ensure the disinfection and sanitization of all the medical, paramedical staff, attendants, patients, visitors and even patients, thereby helping in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 infection in Qazigund Hospital.
The spokesperson of Team Raahat, Younus Rashid said, the installation of sanitization and decontamination tunnel is an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus. This tunnel will sanitize the whole body and the person will get disinfected after passing through this, he added.
