Sopore: In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse, Sopore Police continues it’s war against drugs.Police on Thursday arrested three drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of drugs from their possession in north Kashmir’s police district Sopore.
In a statement, police said that police post Warpora during Naka checking held three drug peddlers, Waseem Ahmad Dar, Umer Mushtaq War both the residents of Warpora and Aatir Mushtaq Mir of Janwara Sopore with 600 ‘Fortaspas’ Tablets.
However Case FIR No. 232/2020 U/S 8/22,29 NDPS Act was registered and further investigation set into motion.
Meanwhile Locals hails the action of Sopore Police.
