Kupwara: Vice Chairperson District Development Council Kupwara Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir on Sunday inaugrated various projects and institutions in Lolab on the eve of 75th independence day.
As per the statement,after the conclusion of Grand Flag hoisting ceremony at DPL Kupwara Vice Chairperson DDC Kupwara Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir inagurated newely upgraded Ayush Health Wellness Center Maidanpora in presence of ADMO Kupwara,District Nodal Officer Dr Mohd Iqbal,Laizan Officer Ayush Dr Shabir,all Medical Officers of District Kupwara PRI’S and dozens of common people of Maidanpora.
Thereafter,Vice Chairperson made the Inaguration of damaged Head of Abpashi and Zamindari koul of Shartmuqam,Maidanpora,Shalpora in presence of BDO Wavoora/Sogam Reyaz Ahmad Shah,AEE,Concerned PRI’s and dozens of common people.
On the occasion,Vice Chairperson said that, due to damage of head of this Koul by heavy floods,the farmers suffered masdive loss and for their quick relief,he has taken the matter with Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din,who himself visited the site and release some amount from SDRF and RDD for quick renovation/Construction of head of the said Koul.
Vice Chairperson afterwards visited Gagal Lolab which is one of the remote area of Lolab and inagurated five pending transformers there,who were installed few years ago.There transformers were installed in Lone Mohalla,Mir Mohalla,Sood Mohalla,Chowkidar Mohalla and Phamda Mohalla of Gagal.Dozens of people including AEE PDD, AEE R&B,JE’S and other staff members of PDD and R&B were present on the occasion.
On the occasion dozens of people put farwarded their issues and greviences to Vice Chairperson who gave patient hearing to the greviences and issues of public and assured them that he will take up their genuine demands and issues with higher authorities and will resolve them with in a stipulated time.
He asserted that the problems are there from last seventy years and he will make every possible effort to resolve them.He mentioned that the poor and downtrodden families are his prime concern and he reiterated the slogan of peace prosperity and development of the poor and downtrodden section of society.
Moreover,Vice Chairperson talked to MD PDD Dr Basharat IAS,Exn PDD Project Wing Er Mateen and thanked them for their prompt action for commissioning these long pending transformers.He intimated MD PDD about the other thirty transformers of whole Lolab which are still pending.MD ensured VC,DDC Kupwara that within short span of time all the these pending transformers of Lolab will be commissioned very soon.
Later on the day,Vice Chairperson along Officers of Youth Services Sports Kupwara inspected Allama Anwar Shah Stadium Kuligam Lolab in presence of dozens of youths of Kuligam Lolab.VC,DDC Kupwara,on the occasion said that an amount of One Crore and four Lakh rupees has been sanctioned for the construction of said stadium in which twenty Lakh were released this year to stat the work.
In his message,Vice Chairperson thanked his execellcy LG Manoj Sinha,Hon’ble Advisor Jenab Baseer Khan IAS,Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta IAS,Additional Chief Secretary Atal Deloo IAS,Divisional Commissioner Kashmir AK Pole IAS,MD PDD Dr Basharat IAS,Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din KAS,ADMO Kupwara Dr Farooq Iqbal,Exn PDD Project Wing Er Mateen,Exn PDD Kupwara Er Shamim District Officer District Youth Services Sports Officer Kupwara Tajinder Singh and other offiers and officials for their cooperation and coordination in making these Inagurations possible in a time bound manner.
Various Senior workers and PRI’S accompanied Vice Chairperson District Development Council Kupwara Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir for the Inaguration of all these areas.(IK)
