Sopore, : Acting tough against the drug dealings, Sopore Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A Police team of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam SI Imitiyaz Ahmad established a Naka at Chatloora intercepted a person identified as Mohammad Lateef Parray son of Ghulam Nabi Parray resident of Hib Dangerpora.
During checking, 20 grams of brown sugar like substance was recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile a case vide FIR No. 01/2021 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Dangiwacha and further investigation has been initiated.
