Block medical officer Tangdhar today inaugurated a special fumigation tunnel installed by welfare Forum Karnah in the premises of District Hospital Tangdhar .
This facility was initiated keeping in view recent postive cases reported from Karnah .
The tunnel will help in sanitizing the medical, para medical staff and visitors to the hospital to prevent hospital from corona virus infection .
On the occasion , BMO Farooq Ahmad Qurashi, thanked and welcome the best efforts of WFK and said that, ” in the wake of coronavirus pandemic, installation of disinfectant sprinkler system to sanitize people entering and exiting the premises has become imperative.
The fumigation tunnel or sanitizer room will reduce the risk of infection and such steps are much needed at this juncture. In order to prevent the novel Coronavirus infection from spreading among the public fumigation tunnel helps in sanitising any person will enter through it ,the fumigation spray will begin and the entire body of the person will be sanitizer as he/she travel to the outage.
While SHO Karnah Waseem Ahmad also hailed the appreciable step taken by WFK and also requested to people’s to be stay at home ,we are available for you people’s in any case of emergency.

Jammu and Kashmir journalists Union President , Syed Junaid ul Islam in his message to WFK said ,” Need of the hour is youth should come up with scientific ideas and helf local public to keep the infection under control . Karnah welfare forum has set an example for others and I would extend my support to such steps taken in the favour of society”.
