Sopore, June 28 : A woman and a girl on Monday allegedly attempted to commit suicide after consuming some poisonous substances at their homes at two different locations of north Kashmir’s Sopore in Baramulla district.
Reports reaching said, that a woman and a teenage girl tried to end their lives by consuming poisonous substances at their homes in Shutloo and Tarzoo areas of Sopore in Baramulla district.
Sources said that a woman (name withheld) wife of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat, a resident of Check Shutloo Rafiabad and a teenage girl (name with held) daughter of Mohammad Akbar Malla, a resident of Tarzoo Sopore tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their homes and were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for treatment.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of both the incidents and registered cases in this regard.
