Years Passed, Administration Failed To Clear Temporary Rice Godown In Sopore’s Krankshivan Colony

Sopore, 02 June : Years have been passed since this temporary rice godown was setup at Nigeen Bagh area of Krankshivan Colony Sopore but administration has completely failed to clear this godown,

Foul smell is posing a large health threat amid administrations tall claims regarding swichita that too in this Corona times when everyone needs to be more vigilant and cautious about health and hygiene.

Residents of Krankshivan Colony area in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district staged protest demonstration against administration for failing to clear temporary godown setup at Nigeen Bagh.

Residents allege it has been now 10 years since this rice godown had been setup here in Nigeen Bagh, it was just for temporary purpose but now authorities are not clearing it as quintiles of rice have been decomposed.

“We had approached administration several times, evertime they assure us, but nothing has been witnessed on ground level”, locals added.

We are in grave problem as this foul smell has taken to our health’s too but who cares,

We request DC Baramulla and the concerned department to look into this matter as early as possible to avert any major problem.
