13th NEP Sensitization Course Concludes at MMTTC, BRABU
Muzaffarpur: The eight-day 13th NEP Sensitization Course (Online Mode), organized by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), concluded successfully today. The national-level programme, held from August 11 under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai and the leadership of MMTTC Director Prof. Sanjay Kumar, was coordinated by Dr. Sunil Kumar.
The course featured eminent national and international experts, including Prof. Geetha Venkataraman, Prof. Sangeeta Agrawal, Dr. R.P. Singh (Director, IIRS), Dr. Fabjan Christopher Fischer (Brown University, USA), Dr. S.K. Pandey (Hokkaido University, Japan), Prof. Susmita Ghosh, Prof. Anup Saikia, Prof. N.K. Pandey, and Prof. B.K. Tripathi. Sessions covered NEP 2020 implementation, curriculum restructuring, the Indian Knowledge System, research integration, and academic governance.
A total of 102 faculty members and research scholars from 15 universities across India completed the course, with BRABU leading participation with 60 delegates, alongside representatives from institutions including Anna University, Osmania University, and Savitribai Phule Pune University, among others.
Speaking at the valedictory session, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai said, *"This programme reflects our collective commitment to translating the vision of NEP 2020 into meaningful classroom practice. The active participation of faculty from across the country reaffirms BRABU's growing role as a national hub for academic capacity building."
Prof. B.K. Tripathi, Advisor for Faculty Excellence and Academic Development, Lok Bhawan, Bihar, remarked, "Policy succeeds only when it is implemented with sincerity at the institutional level. This course has equipped faculty with the tools and understanding necessary to drive that change forward."
The organizers expressed confidence that the initiative would strengthen a nationwide network committed to advancing NEP 2020 across higher education institutions.
