A Dignified Mehfil-e-Mushaira Held at Payer Café, Kralpora, Under the Auspices of Adabch Awaaz Adabi Idara Kralpora Kupwara.

Kralpora, 16 September 2026 (Wednesday): A dignified and intellectually enriching Mushaira (poetic gathering) was organised at the hall of Payer Café, Kralpora on 16 September 2026(Tuesday) , under the auspices of Adabch Awaaz Adabi Idara, Kralpora. The Mushaira was presided over by Mr. Ali Mohammad Majrooh, President of Nida-e-Adab Kralpora and a renowned poet. Eminent Lecturer in Zoology and noted poet Mr. Peer Javed Iqbal also graced the occasion as a distinguished guest.

Representing Nida-e-Adab Kralpora, President Ali Mohammad Majrooh, Peer Javed Iqbal, Ghulam Hassan Benawa and Parvez Ahmad Parwaaz participated in the gathering and extended their literary and poetic cooperation. Mir Zulfiqar Saagar, a senior member of Adab Kooch and Adabch Awaaz Adabi Idara, Kralpora, also participated and presented his poetry. Members of the Wisdom Wings Educational Foundation (WWEF) were also present on the occasion, while Mr. Pair Ayoub, associated with the private sector, also attended the gathering.

The poets who presented their poetry during the Mushaira included Ali Mohammad Majrooh, Peer Javed Iqbal, Ghulam Hassan Benawa, Mir Zulfiqar Saagar, Ejaz Sahar and Showkat Budnumbal Kashmiri.

The gathering commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Parvez Ahmad Parwaaz, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, presented by Ghulam Hassan Benawa. The proceedings of the Mushaira were conducted by Showkat Budnumbal Kashmiri.

The Mushaira commenced at 5:00 p.m. and concluded at 6:00 p.m. During this brief yet purposeful literary sitting, the participating poets presented their selected works, captivating the audience and enriching the gathering with poetic beauty, intellectual refinement and literary taste.

On the occasion, the dignitaries and literary figures representing the participating organisations emphasised the importance of mutual cooperation, collaborative efforts and the promotion of positive literary and intellectual activities. It was observed that strengthening coordination and cooperation among educational and literary organisations can play a meaningful role in cultivating a culture of reading, literature, poetry, intellectual awareness and positive values among the younger generation.

The participants also expressed their resolve to sustain such purposeful literary gatherings and to collectively create brighter avenues for knowledge and literature for future generations, enabling these initiatives to serve as a guiding light and source of inspiration for them.

The gathering concluded in a warm and congenial literary atmosphere, marked by mutual respect and a renewed commitment to continued academic and literary cooperation.
