Srinagar, Aug 6: Bollywood actor and model Waluscha De Sousa is in Srinagar to host the prestigious J&K Open Golf Tournament being held at the picturesque Royal Springs Golf Course, adding a touch of glamour to one of India's premier professional golfing events.
The tournament, being held from August 4 to 7, has attracted leading professional golfers from across the country and abroad and is expected to strengthen further Kashmir's growing reputation as a destination for sports tourism. The event has also witnessed participation from amateur golfers and corporate representatives through Pro-Am engagements.
Waluscha, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film Fan (2016), has been actively associated with several national golf championships and sporting events in recent years. Her presence at the tournament has generated excitement among golf enthusiasts and fans in the valley.
Nestled along the banks of Dal Lake against the backdrop of the Zabarwan Hills, the Royal Springs Golf Course is regarded as one of India's finest golf courses.
