Mandi Gobindgarh, June 16: The Desh Bhagat University Institution's Innovation Council (DBU-IIC) continues to strengthen the University’s innovation, entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem through a series of impactful programmes, outreach activities and research-driven initiatives.
The Honourable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harsh Sadawarti extended their heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Convener of DBU-IIC Faculty Council, for his exemplary leadership in successfully implementing the various IIC Calendar Activities, MIC-Driven Activities, Celebration Activities, Self-Driven Activities, Research & Development Activities as well as Innovation-focused initiatives in the University.
Highlighting the University's commitment to innovation-led growth, the Management emphasized that the achievements of DBU-IIC are closely aligned with the three foundational pillars of Desh Bhagat University - Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The council has played a significant role in fostering entrepreneurial thinking, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing research output and encouraging patents, copyrights as well as industry-academia partnerships.
Appreciating the contributions of all domain coordinators and team members, the Management reaffirmed its commitment to supporting aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs through mentorship, resources and collaborative opportunities. These sustained efforts continue to position Desh Bhagat University as a leading centre for innovation, research and entrepreneurship.
