On July 10, 2026, Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court upheld Rajpal Yadav’s conviction in seven cheque dishonour cases linked to a 2010 loan for his directorial debut. The court reduced his earlier six-month term to three months in each case, to run concurrently, and imposed a fine of ₹1.05 crore per case.
