Dr. Javaid Iqbal Khan Assumes Charge as Director, Kupwara Campus, University of Kashmir

Kupwara, Sep 08: Dr. Javaid Iqbal Khan today formally assumed the charge as I/C Director of Kupwara Campus, University of Kashmir.
Dr. Khan is a distinguished academician from the Department of Economics, University of Kashmir, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and policy analysis. He has contributed significantly in the field of development economics and was recently nominated as a member of the 7th Common Review Mission (CRM) on Rural Development by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
After assuming charge, Dr. Khan held an introductory meeting with the faculty, staff, and students of the campus. He emphasized University Kashmir's commitment to developing Kupwara Campus as a vibrant centre of quality education, skill development, and academic excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Khan thanked Vice Chancellor university of kashmir Prof. Neelofer Khan and the university administration for reposing trust in him and providing him an opportunity to work at kupwara campus. He said that his priority will be guided by the vision of the HVC and the University of Kashmir which is to strengthen academic activities, improve student amenities, enhance infrastructure, and introduce market-driven and employment-oriented courses as per the aspirations of the youth of North Kashmir. He assured that he will work in close coordination with the University administration and district administration for the overall development of the campus.
The faculty and students welcomed Dr. Khan and expressed hope that under his dynamic leadership, the Kupwara Campus will achieve new heights in academics and development.
