Green Land Educational Institution Hyhama Celebrates Annual Day with Cultural Performances

Hyhama, Kupwara, October 4: Green Land Educational Institution, Hyhama, Kupwara, celebrated its Annual Day on Sunday with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, teachers, parents and distinguished guests to celebrate academic achievements and showcase students’ cultural talents.
The event was attended by MLA Mir Mohammad Fayaz and Mr. Mumtaz Ali Khan, the chief guest. The institution’s Chairman, Manzoor Ahmad Lone, and Principal, Noor-ud-Din Lone, were also present. Mr. Zahoor Bhat, President, and Mr. Altaf Shah, Vice President of the Private Schools Association Kupwara, attended the programme.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat-e-Shareef. Students presented a welcome song and a series of cultural performances that added colour and vibrancy to the celebration. Their performances reflected creativity, confidence and an appreciation of cultural traditions.
Special recognition was accorded to the outgoing Class 10 students. The programme also celebrated the achievements and contributions of students, performers and teachers. The performances by younger students were particularly appreciated by the audience.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Manzoor Ahmad Lone highlighted the role of private educational institutions in providing quality education and shaping the future of students. He appreciated the efforts of the teaching staff and students in making the celebration a success.
On the occasion, MLA Mir Mohammad Fayaz announced the construction of three bathrooms and the provision of two smart boards for the institution. The proposed facilities are expected to strengthen the school’s infrastructure and enhance the teaching and learning environment.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to the chief guest, other dignitaries, parents, teachers, students and organisers for their participation and support.
The Annual Day celebration provided a platform for students to showcase their abilities, gain confidence and celebrate their achievements, reaffirming the importance of education in the all-round development of young people.
