JAMMU, May 19: The J&K Sub-Junior Roll Ball Girls team brought laurels to the Union Territory by clinching third place in the North Zone Roll Ball Championship held at Shimla. The team displayed remarkable skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, earning appreciation from coaches, officials and spectators alike.
The contingent was headed by Ashraf Dijoo, who congratulated the players for their outstanding performance and dedication. He also appreciated the hard work of the coaching and support staff for preparing the team for the prestigious event.
The medal-winning squad included Captain Meera Verma, along with Khevna Gupta, Ashwika Srivastava, Arshita Singh, Harshita Saini, Dhwani Nanda, Aarna Verma, Zunaira Shah, Uswa Zahroor, Aisha Wani and Anayah Ali Haji. The team was coached by Sameer Gupta, while Manvijay Singh Slathia served as technical head.
