Mubarak Gul inaugurates development works in Eidgah Constituency
Srinagar, September 7: Senior JKNC leader and MLA Eidgah Haji Mubarak Gul today inaugurated several development works in different areas of Eidgah Constituency.
At Safakadal, Gul inaugurated the recently completed construction works at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Nawakadal, popularly known as Dhar School. The works have been executed under the Constituency Development Fund.
During his visit to the school, Gul interacted with students and members of the teaching staff and took stock of the facilities being provided to the students.
Later, at Cement Kadal in Noorbagh, Gul inaugurated newly installed chain-link fencing at Noor Jehan Bridge. The work was recommended by Gul following demands raised by local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Gul said development of public infrastructure and improvement of educational facilities remain a priority. He said several development works are being undertaken across the Eidgah Constituency to improve basic amenities and provide better facilities to the people.
Gul also stressed the need for adequate safety measures, including fencing at vulnerable spots, in view of concerns over suicide incidents. He said preventive measures and timely intervention are important to ensure public safety.
The MLA said further development works would be taken up in different areas of the constituency as per the requirements of the people.
