Imperial Educational Institute Drugmulla Celebrates Annual Day with Cultural Fervour

Drugmulla, Kupwara, October 7: Imperial Educational Institute (IEI), Drugmulla, Kupwara, celebrated its Annual Day with enthusiasm and fervour, providing students a vibrant platform to showcase their talent, creativity and confidence.
The programme was graced by Tehsildar Drugmulla, Syed Basharat Rasool, as the Chief Guest. Principal Government Higher Secondary School Drugmulla, Mr. Gulzar Jaffer, attended the programme as a distinguished guest.
The event was also attended by District President, Private Schools Association (PSA) Kupwara, Mr. Tanveer Ahmad Lone, Chief Coordinator PSA Kupwara, Mr. Mushtaq Shaheen Bhat, Zonal President PSA Zone Kupwara, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Lone, along with other chairpersons, PSA members, educationists and guests.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Principal IEI Drugmulla, Ms. Hajra Bano, along with the dedicated teaching staff of the institution.
The celebrations commenced with a warm welcome to the guests, followed by Tilawat-e-Quran, Naat and a welcome song. Students subsequently presented a series of cultural and educational performances that reflected their confidence, creativity and talent.
One of the highlights of the programme was an emotional presentation on the importance of mothers, portraying the deep bond between a mother and her child and conveying a meaningful message to the younger generation.
A Kashmiri cultural performance dedicated to mothers also captivated the audience and highlighted the students' connection with the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir. Several other performances further added colour and vibrancy to the Annual Day celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests appreciated the management, Principal, teachers and students for organising the programme and providing students with opportunities to develop their talents through cultural and co-curricular activities.
The speakers emphasised that education goes beyond academics and that activities such as public speaking, cultural performances and other co-curricular programmes play an important role in developing confidence, creativity and overall personality among students.
The Annual Day concluded with appreciation for the students and teachers whose efforts contributed to making the celebration a memorable occasion.
