BEIJING, Jun 10 : Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Doraiswami on Wednesday met Yang Wanming, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, in Beijing and discussed ways to enhance people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is attached to China's Foreign Ministry. It focuses on people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries.
Doraiswami and Yang discussed the enduring legacy of India-China people to people exchanges and ways to enhance cultural, educational, and youth interactions, according to a post by the Indian Embassy in Beijing.
Both sides emphasised fostering greater mutual understanding through deeper people-to-people connections, it said. (PTI)
