PESHAWAR, Jun 11 : Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has allocated PKR 184.5 million for the welfare and rehabilitation of Hindus across the northwestern province during the fiscal year 2025-26.

A delegation of the Hindu community, led by Hindu Sabha President Rajesh Kumar, called on the President of the Insaf Minority Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Wazirzada, here on Thursday.

The meeting focused on issues concerning the welfare and development of the Hindu community in the province.

During the meeting, Wazirzada informed the delegation that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated PKR 184.5 million for the welfare of the Hindu community, including the rehabilitation and maintenance of temples, cremation grounds, and other community-related facilities across the province.

He said that numerous welfare and development projects aimed at improving facilities for minority communities have been completed in the current financial year.

Several schemes are in various stages of completion.
