DEZFUL (Iran), June 14 : The commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has said that the world will soon hear the "echo of Iran's victory and the triumph of resistance over the aggressive and terrorist enemy", according to Iranian state media.
Major General Ali Abdollahi made the remarks in a message marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Major General Gholamali Rashid and his son, Amin Abbas Rashid, at a ceremony held in Dezful, Iranian state media reported.
General Rashid, who previously headed the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters after being appointed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in 2016, served until his death. He and his son were killed in an Israeli attack on June 13, 2025.
In his message, Abdollahi said the loss of Rashid was significant but also demonstrated, in his words, "the deterrent power and national strength of Islamic Iran".
He added that "the enemy imagined that by physically assassinating Iran's military masterminds, it could create a breach in Iran's defensive will" but said it failed to understand that Rashid left behind a "legacy of knowledge, experience, and strategic thinking" for future generations.
The commander further stated that Iranian armed forces are now managing what he described as "complex hybrid and cognitive warfare," relying on the same strategic framework developed by earlier commanders.
Highlighting Iran's military posture, he said the country's forces operating across land, air, and maritime borders demonstrate a spirit of "we can" through indigenous equipment and capabilities.
He also said the "steadfast presence of the Iranian nation" serves as a key pillar of support for the armed forces amid ongoing regional tensions. Concluding his message, Abdollahi said, "By the grace of God, the world will soon hear the echo of Iran's victory and the triumph of resistance over the aggressive and terrorist enemy across the globe," Iranian state media reported.
