Press Release
It is a matter of great joy to announce that author Sushi Saxena’s new science book "The Chemistry Connection (Chemistry in Our Daily Life)" has now been published.
This book connects chemistry with our everyday life. Written in simple English, the book explains how chemical elements and reactions are present in every aspect of our lives. From morning tea to the night bulb, from the tears caused by onions to a matchstick — the author explains the science hidden behind every small and big event through fascinating examples, equations, and experiments.
The book uncovers the stories of science hidden in the kitchen, bathroom, and every corner of the house. The author's aim is to present chemistry not as a scary subject for students and common people, but as a magical world that deeply connects us to everything around us.
For this book, the author expresses her heartfelt gratitude to several eminent scientists and academicians. These include Dr. A. P. Jayaraman, Mumbai; Dr. Vijay Garg, Punjab; Dr. Veer Sir, Goa; Dr. Ram Shankar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh; and Dr. Ashk Hussain, Jammu-Kashmir.
For their support in completing the book, Sushi Saxena thanks Satish M., Tamanna, Melina, Sunita Fadnis, Adaram Naik, and Anamika. She also extends special thanks to her friends in America — Annie, Amelia, Leom Sir, and Rohit — whose cooperation and encouragement made this work possible.
This book is extremely useful for students, teachers, and anyone interested in science.
