Upon receiving various complaints from the public regarding illegal hike in fare today MVD team of kupwara swung into action and seized six vehicles which were found taking extra fare on the routes Kralpora to Guzriyal, Kralpora to Rawathpora, Batpora, sonthipora. Besides onspot compound was also realised from the offenders. The seized vehicles have been kept in Police Station Kralpora.
This step is being widely appreciated by public . People here are hopeful for the fares to be leveled with Govt rates.
