On behalf of the apex body of Hajj & Umrah Industry, Mr Sheikh Feroz- President “JKAHUC” (Jammu Kashmir Association of Hajj Umrah Companies) wants to bring this information before the prominent and prestigious citizens of the UT of J&K.
Mr. Sheikh Feroz – President (JKAHUC) would like to share his heartfelt happiness and greet the public in general for their prayers and affection towards Hajj Umrah Pilgrimage. We would like to inform all prestigious citizens of the UT of J&K, that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allowed Licensed and Accredited tour operators from 6 countries including India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt and Pakistan to issue Umrah Visa and design umrah packages accordingly. The new directive has come into force from 01:00 am in Monday, December 6, 2021. Government of India also has officially eased travel restrictions for commercial tourism and commercial flights are allowed to operate from 01st February 2022. The travel ban has been lifted after 2 years as in March 2020 entire travel eco system was stopped by the authorities due to Corona virus pandemic, but As per the demand for Umrah seen in J&K, We at JKAHUC are doing our best and doing all efforts to start flight operations before February through special charter flights. JKAHUC with its entire community of more then 100 umrah oprerators are working jointly to re-start the pilgrimage as soon as possible. JKAHUC has sent special representatives to different airlines for fast resumption and allowance of special flights.
It is also to notify to all umrah aspirants that, JKAHUC has planned a unique package and experience for the people of J&k. JKAHUC with its entire umrah operators community will be designing a special umrah package , it is expected that more then 100 umrah oprerators will jointly be a part of it. JKAHUC will be launching first of its kind joint package to arrange services for the umrah aspirant of the valley and for the convenience of people, JKAHUC will publish list of its registered members where people can book the package and complete further formalities.
As per the directives all the protocols and preventive measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities and epidemiological pandemic situation globally.
It is to notify and inform public in general and umrah aspirants in particular, to be vigilant and not to fall for any fake packages and tour opertors. We strongly recommend to only trust registered companies with registered offices and avoid booking through individual persons or agents.We also strongly recommend people to check and evaluate all features of packages such as Hotels/Flights & Package Terms and Conditions prior to booking their umrah packages.
JKAHUC in the same way has laid strict guidelines to its affiliated travel agents/operators community as well, It is directed to all its affiliated travel agents/operators community to see all corners before taking any bookings for umrah this season such as Flights, Weather Conditions, Visa & Accommodation Protocols. All affiliated companies have been directed to strictly follow the Government protocols and guidelines.
